The Dunellen Public Library is proud to present…

Imagination Station, a story hour for children ages 3-5.  Join Ms. Jennifer for a half hour of simple stories, finger plays, songs and other activities aimed at preschool age kids.

There are two sessions of Imagination Station. Please register for either Wednesday afternoon OR Thursday morning and only attend that session.

Early Fall session will run:

Wednesday, 9/12- 10/17 @ 3:30 pm
Thursday,  9/13 – 10/18 @ 10:30 am

New Session Starts: 11/7 & 11/8

Imagination Station
A simply story time for children 6-36 months with a caregiver.
20 – 30 minutes in length.  The children will learn simple nursery rhymes, and songs.

There are two sessions of Mother Goose Time.  They  will run every  week  in approximately 6 week increments..

Early Fall Session:
Wednesday, 9/12- 10/17  @ 4:15 pm
Thursday, 9/13- 10/18 @ 11:15 am
Each session has ALL NEW RHYMES!

Mother Goose is  a drop in program.  Please feel free to stop in and see what we are all about.

Crafty Kids, an activity for pre-school and elementary age children.  To ensure we provide enough supplies please register.

The Crafty Kids craft will be seasonally appropriate.

Crafty Kids
The Dunellen Library has acquired a Movie License.  In addition to having regular screenings the children’s department holds special movie programs during school vacations and half days to give parents something to do with the kids.

While this event is open to preschoolers and elementary age children, parents are advised to use discretion when signing up younger children or children who may be afraid during intense action scenes.  Only children who are able to sit throughout an entire movie should be registered to avoid distraction.  Children who leave (except for bathroom needs) during the movie will not be allowed to rejoin the group.

A pillow to sit upon is permitted but no toys please!!

Oh Baby! Looking to get out of the house with your little one?

Come on over to the Dunellen Public Library the second Wednesday morning of each month at 10:30 for Baby Buddies, a drop in playgroup for children newborn- 3 years of age with an adult companion.  Adults can socialize while the children play.  No registration is required.

Girl’s Club
Pajama Pals, an evening story hour for families with younger children (3-6 years). 

Pajama Palsis offered one Monday evening per month as a convenience for working parents who can’t attend story times during working hours.  The Dunellen Public Library is committed to fostering a love of reading in children and trying to accommodate parents who would like to share the library experience with their children.

Pajamas welcome.
